E-learning Hub

OPTIC launched its eLearning Hub in September of 2020 with some great courses available for continuing education at your own pace, in your own space!

PeerZone

PeerZone is a series of peer-led workshops for people who experience mental distress and addiction. The workshops are a combination of peer support and recovery education and provide a fun, interactive, safe structure for participants to share their experiences, learn, grow,  and expand their horizons. Workshops explore distress, recovery, and major life domains such as lifestyle, relationships, housing, and employment.

Peer Pain Training

The Peer Pain Training was developed through funding from the Injury and Violence Prevention Program at Oregon Health Authority. Collaboratively developed by experts in pain science, people with lived experience, and peer support specialists, this training provides a foundation for understanding pain and how to effectively support people who live with pain.

Project PEER is an HRSA-funded project that aims to make peer support more accessible in under-served communities throughout Oregon by growing the number of trained peer-delivered service providers. The project provides tuition coverage for peer certification training, a Chromebook, and a $5000 stipend for living expenses to approved participants.
