What is Pathway Home?
Pathway Home is a direct peer-delivered service program of the Mental Health & Addiction Association of Oregon. Pathway Home is funded through a grant from the Department of Labor, with the goal of reducing recidivism of the individuals in the Portland Metro (Tri-County) area by increasing access to training and employment. The program launched on July 1st, 2021!
Referral Information
The Pathway Home Program is no longer taking referrals as of December 31, 2023. Everyone who is currently enrolled will be contacted starting January 1, 2024.
what services do we provide?
Pathway Home seeks to accomplish these goals through providing a continuum of services beginning between 6 months and 20 days before release and continuing through up to 18 months post release. Pathway Home services are to include assessment, case management, peer support services, access to housing, and job training or credential attainment.
who is eligible?
Currently sentenced individuals over the age of 18 who have between 180-20 days until their release date. Individuals must be legally eligible to work in the United States and be enrolled in the Selective Service if required by law. Ideal candidates for Pathway Home are those who identify as motivated to change their circumstances and work toward becoming employed.
Veterans Priority Consideration
Veterans and their spouses are encouraged to apply and will receive priority consideration in all programmatic decisions.
